Naga terriers conduct cycle expedition

Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): As part of the ongoing celebrations to commemorate the 61st Raising Day of the Territorial Army, Zakhama based 164 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army)(Home&Hearth) Naga, initiated a trans- Nagaland Cycle Expedition from Zakhama Garrison on February 3 to spread the awareness of Territorial Army amongst the masses.
The expedition, as a part of All India event  named  Pradeshik Bhraman hosted by New Delhi based Territorial Army Directorate, has already traversed a distance of 800 km on its first leg in Dimapur and Peren Districts. The second leg, which was a joint venture, traversed  clocked  2100 km across West Bengal. The present team consisting of 13 members lead by Sub Shivender Singh, would traverse through the districts of Kohima, Wokha and Zunheboto, before joining the final leg from Kolkota to New Delhi on February 10.
