Dimapur: Private office sealed 

Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner and Chairperson of the District Disaster Management Authority Rajesh Soundararajan ordered the sealing of Mahindra Truck & Bus Division office, Chabou & Co at 6th Mile, for 48 hours. During this period, necessary sanitization of the premises shall be done by the management, the order stated. Any person violating the containment measures will be penalized as per the provisions of Section 52 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, the DC’s order stated.

Houses sealed at Mon

Mon, May 11 (MExN): In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K ordered the sealing of two houses in Mon town on May 10, till further orders. According to the order issued through the state DIPR on Tuesday, one of the houses is located at Techahan Ward and the other at Thamnan Ward. Any person violating the containment measures would be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other legal provisions as applicable, the order stated.

Mon DTF notifies COVID-19 helpline numbers

Mon, May 11 (MExN): The Mon District Task Force has notified the following numbers as the District COVID-19 Helpline Numbers: 9862944517- (For Health & Family Welfare related queries) and 9362818945- (For any other query). The above numbers may be contacted for any COVID-19 queries/emergencies, it added. 

Naginimora ADC orders sealing of house

Naginimora, May 11 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Naginimora Vineet Kumar has ordered the sealing of a house at Chingjang Colony, Ward No 04, Naginimora, on May 10, till further orders. The house was sealed in order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the ADC’s order stated. It also cautioned that persons violating the containment measures would be liable to be proceeded against as per the provision of Sections 51 to 60 of Disaster Management Act 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other legal provisions as applicable.

DC Tuensang restricts social gatherings

Tuensang, May 11 (MExN): In view of the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in the district and in pursuance to the decision taken at the meeting of the District Task Force for COVID-19 on May 10, Tuensang Deputy Commissioner Kumar Ramnikant has issued a set of directives for the district. All the social/political/religious/cultural/sports gatherings and any other gathering shall be restricted within the district, subject to the permission of the District Task Force, Tuensang, the DC stated. Additionally, gathering of any nature shall be strictly prohibited in all the public grounds/playgrounds, including sports activities, within the district. The order comes into force with immediate effect until further orders.
