The Nagaland State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) launched its State Helpline 9863061767 for COVID-19 Relief and Assistance by Arvind Damani, the National BJYM Co-Incharge for North-East at its office in Dimapur. Through its State Helpline and District Helpline the BJYM Nagaland informed that it is ‘fully prepared’ and geared up to help those in need across the State during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Notun Bosti council Dimapur (NBCD) held a short programme for laying a foundation stone for the construction of welcome Gate at the Notun Bosti junction on April 28. The programme was chaired by Kikhevi yepthomi GB, Convenor welcome gate construction committee and blessing prayer was pronounced by Kanili Aye Associate Pastor Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church (DSBC). The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell, Peren Government College (PGC), Peren organized an awareness programme on ‘Violence Against Women and Evils of Early Marriage’ in the college on April 28. Resource persons from SAKHI One Stop Centre, Peren Peheilusile, Case Worker and Grace, Counselor spoke on the theme. The programme was chaired by Albert, Vice Principal, PGC and attended by students and faculty of the college.
