Nagaland: 109 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths, 405 recoveries

Nagaland on Monday reported 109 new COVID-19 cases taking the total caseload to 23753. Mokokchung accounted for 52 of the new cases while 26 were reported in Kohima, 14 in Dimapur, 7 in Mon, 1 each in Peren, Phek and Tuensang, 2 in Wokha and 5 in Zunheboto.

The State continued a high trend in its recovery status with 405 persons recovering from the infection on June 14. The recoveries were reported from Dimapur (238), Kohima (122), Mon (22), Phek (8), Zunheboto (6), Peren (4), Tuensang (3) and Longleng (2). With this, the total recovery increased to 19431. There are 3201 active COVID-19 cases at present in Nagaland, with 139 admitted in the COVID Hospitals while 2818 are under home isolation.

 Meanwhile, 3 more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours with Kiphire, Kohima and Tuensang reporting one death each. The State’s tally of COVID-19 deaths increased to 442 on Monday, as per the bulletin issued by the State Health department.
