Vanguard FC today overpowered United 16 FC 2-1 in the 11th round of the ongoing 2nd Kohima Football League 2018 here at Kohima Local Ground under the aegis of Kohima Town Club.
Vanguard FC took a 1-0 lead till the first half as Ketholetuo opened the account for the team in the 16th minute.
Longkhoi scored the equalizer goal for United 16 FC in the 61st minute. 19 minutes later, Ketholetuo netted his 2nd goal for Vanguard FC to register a 2-1 win.
With today’s win, Vanguard FC have climbed to the 11th spot with 11 points.
