DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 11 (MExN): Seven new positive cases of COVID-19 were detected in Nagaland on February 12.
The bulletin from the Health Department informed that the new cases include 6 from Kohima and 1 from Dimapur. 1 of the new cases is a returnee/traveler while the remaining 6 are traced contacts.
Meanwhile, 5 people have recovered from the infection in Dimapur. As of February 12, the total caseload of Nagaland is 12,175 out of which 11,848 have recovered and 89 are active cases. The number of deaths remains at 78 while 10 deaths are categorized as “not COVID related.” 150 cases have migrated, according to the Health Department’s bulletin.
Among the active cases in the State, 88 patients are asymptomatic while 1 patient has mild symptoms. The State has so far conducted 74,270 RT PCR tests, 37,217 Truenat tests and 16,065 Rapid Antigen tests.
