
DIMAPUR, JANUARY 7 (MExN): 8 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nagaland on January 7, while a similar number of recoveries were reported on the same day. The new cases were detected out of 607 test results.
The Health Department’s bulletin informed that the new cases include 6 from Dimapur, and 1 each from Kohima and Tuensang. They comprise of 4 detected through self testing and random sampling, 3 returnees/travelers, and 1 traced contact.
The total caseload of the State as of January 7 is now 32,255 while the number of active cases is 81. Meanwhile, 687 people have succumbed to the virus till date.
