MOKOKCHUNG, JULY 27 (MExN): As part of the Tsüngremmung Hornbill Festival Mokokchung 2018, the Mopungchuket Community Tourism Society will be organizing an angling competition in association with the Government of Nagaland at Süngkotenem Lake, Mopungchuket.
The competition will be held on August 1 and 2 and tickets for the competition will be available at the venue as well as at 'Outdoor' shop, Kichuchar Complex, Mokokchung.
Total cash prize for the competition will be worth Rs.50,000. The competition includes prizes for the top three biggest catches, most number of catches and highest gross weight of catches, and will be held on 'one person, one prize' basis. The winners of the competition will be adjudged on the basis of both days of the competition.
Interested individuals can register for the competition with Rs.500 for the two-day competition. Only two fishing rods and only one food cage will be allowed per angler. For queries, interested persons may contact 8837323230.
