Dimapur, March 15 (MExN): The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) today announced both men’s and women’s team rosters for the upcoming inaugural Under-23 National Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held from March 18-24 in Guwahati, Assam.
Neisezo Theunuo will lead the men’s team, while Rütuonuo Janice is the captain of the women’s team.
According to the NBA, both teams underwent a short preparatory camp at the Basketball Court, Mission Compound, Kohima, and Tetso College, Sovima, under the supervision of the coaches and managers.
Chumbenthung Humtsoe serves as the men’s team coach, while Keneselie Belho leads the women’s team.
The U-23 championship at Karmabir Nabin Chandra Bordoloi AC Indoor Stadium, Sarusajai Sports Complex, will showcase the talent of young athletes from across the nation, the NBA stated.
It offers a unique platform for emerging players to gain exposure and experience in a competitive environment, and the NBA is committed to fostering young talent and creating opportunities for future stars of the sport, it added.
