Three schools in Nagaland affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has achieved 100% pass percentage in the Indian School Certificate (ISCE) Class 12 Examination and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICS) Class 10 Examination declared by the Council on April 30.
The ISC Class 12 exams 2025 were held from February 13 to April 5, 2025, while the ICSE Class 10 exams took place between February 18 and March 27, 2025.
The three schools in Nagaland which appeared for the CISCE exams were N. N. Nagi School, Dimapur; Green Valley Academy, Dimapur; and Jubilee Memorial School, Mokokchung
While N. N. Nagi School and Green Valley Academy for the first time sat for the ICS examinations; Jubilee Memorial School sat for both the ISC and ISCE examinations. Naga cuisine recipes
A total of 142 candidates from the three schools appeared and passed the Class 10 ICS exams and 39 candidates from ISCE Class 12 examinations.
The school authorities speaking to The Morung Express informed that in the ISC Class 10 category, 129 are from Jubilee Memorial School, nine from Green Valley Academy and four from N. N. Nagi School, Dimapur.
Speaking of the pass percentage, while all the schools are still accessing the results, N. N. Nagi School also informed that the candidates passed with flying colours where the percentage ranged from 76%- 80%. Naga cuisine recipes
The medium of instruction under CISCE schools is English.
Under the ISCE, there are 10 subjects including English, Indian language, Social Sciences like history, civics, geography, mathematics and science like physics, chemistry, Biology, commercial applications, SUPW etc. Apart from that, one local language subjects such as Ao, Tenyidie have been incorporated which can be alternatively chosen among an Indian language subject that the School is providing.
Under the CISCE, a total of 252,557 candidates appeared for the ICSE Class 10 examinations. Of these, 134,700 were boys, making up 53.33% of the total, while 117,857 were girls, accounting for 46.67%. In the ISC Class 12 examinations, 99,551 students took part, with boys comprising 52.58% (52,339 candidates) and girls making up 47.42% (47,212 candidates).
