Nagaland Congress holds meeting with AICC In-charge of Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura

KOHIMA, October 6 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) organised an introductory meeting with Dr Ajoy Kumar, Ex MP who has been appointed as the All India Congress Committee In-charge of Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura at Congress Bhawan hall on October 6.

Congress representative from the state attended the meeting and had an interactive meeting with the incharge of Nagaland Dr Ajoy. 

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Kumar called upon the Nagaland Congress party workers to come together and talk over various issues, have a workout plan starting from grassroot level, and build a strong foundation so that anyone can face the challenges ahead.

He also called upon the gathering to protect the diversity of the country. Lamenting that BJP and all parties who supported it are destroying the foundation of Indian diversity. 

"We all have different beliefs, religions, food habits and culture, but we all are oneness India," if we cannot protect culture, language, religion then this country will not survive, he added.

He therefore requested the gathering to fight against the ideology of BJP by ways of writing on social media, and to discuss with people. If not then the BJP will really destroy the culture, he added.

He also praised Rahul Gandhi that he is the bravest and most honest leader in the country who can speak against Modi in congress.

President NPCC K. Therie in his closing remark, he said Dr Kumar has vast experience being an MP, AICC spokesperson and also experience police background as an IPS. 

"With your support, we will be able to change this corrupt government," he said.

He requested Dr Kumar to urge the parliament members of the congress to speak for the Naga political solution in the fourth coming winter session of parliament. 

He also announced that the NPCC is not going to participate in the fourth coming bye election
