Mon, January 13 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Wennyei Konyak has informed that recommendations for the District Commendation Award for Gazetted and Non-Gazetted officers are being invited from the concerned Heads of Departments (HoDs).
The awards will be examined and considered by the District Level Committee and conferred on January 26.
While forwarding recommendations, the Deputy Commissioner stated that the prescribed criteria must be strictly observed.
These include submission of ACR/APAR for the last three years, a minimum length of service of more than 10 years, and a recommendation from the concerned HoD along with a brief write-up highlighting the employee’s exceptional contribution, as per the prescribed format (Annexure “A”).
It was further informed that each HoD may recommend only one employee for each category or grade.
The citation or recommendation should be concise and clearly highlight the performance and achievements of the individual concerned.
An integrity certificate, duly signed by the forwarding authority, is also mandatory.
All recommendations, duly filled in the enclosed format, are to be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mon, on or before January 22, as per a DIPR report.
