Dimapur, May 4 (MExN): A three-member delegation from Nagaland Beekeeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) attended the 12th Asian Apiculture Association Conference held from April 24 – 27, 2014 at Antalya, Turkey. The team was led by NBHM Team Leader Wonchio Odyuo. According to a press release issued by Wonchio Odyuo, the conference was held under the theme “Save the bees from the world.” The conference, Wonchio said, offered a good opportunity to exchange experiences in various aspects and discussed latest developments in Apiculture. Around 40 speakers who were chosen among the most distinguished national and international experts in the field of apiculture participated in the conference. The conference included field visits to large agricultural lands, modern computer controlled greenhouses, bumblebee breeding facilities and pine honey production areas.
