Seen in these images are the rusting metal deck at the foot-bridge near Plaza point in Dimapur on February 1. The bridge, which was inaugurated by former Minister of Road and Bridges, Khutovi Sumi on May 22, 2004, is considered an important path for most of the pedestrians and particularly school going children, who use the bridge on a daily basis to reach their destination safe and on time. The ill-maintained foot-bridge, exposed to the elements, is decaying posing serious threat to pedestrians and calls for immediate repair. (Photo by Soreishim Mahong)
