Kohima, January 19 (MExN): Governor of Assam and Nagaland, Prof Jagdish Mukhi has greeted the Khiamniungan community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah.
This festival advocates peaceful co-existence, friendship and reconciliation. It is a time of thanksgiving for the year's harvest, the Governor said in his greetings.
This vibrant festival also provides a platform for the youngsters to learn the rich and unique cultural values of the Khiamniungans, he said.
Further urging for celebrating the festival by following the COVID-19 SOPs, Prof Mukhi also conveyed happiness, good health and a prosperous life.
