NCD meeting
Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has convened a meeting on November 19, 12:00 noon at Council Conference Hall at Nyamo Lotha Road, Dimapur, to discuss the present prevailing political scenario thereof. NCD in a press release has requested all the 19 tribes constituted councilors to make it convenient to attend the meeting. Any Naga Councilor from 19 tribes “failing to attend the Naga Council meeting for 3 consecutive times without assigning a valid reason shall be disqualified as per power conferred under Article 6 of council constitution,” the release added.
PDGBA meeting
PDGBA (Peren District Gaon Buddha Association) has convened a meeting to discuss on election of new team of PDGBA for the tenure 2020 to 2025 on November 19, 11:00 am at Jalukie town hall. PDGBA in a press release has requested GBs, (around 30) and office bearers, advisors, executive members of the Association to attend the meeting.
NNC (Parent Body) general meet
The Naga National Council (NNC) (Parent Body) has convened a general meeting on November 28 to discuss and deliberate on peace and unity in the homeland. A press release from Information & Publicity Wing, NNC informed all the Regional Councils, Sub-Regional Councils, Naga Women Federation and its unit, Central members, seniors members, officials to attend compulsorily “as the need of the hour for our future stand and freedom.” It also invited all the concerned people and NNC members anywhere or in any group who stand for national unity to come forward and attend the meeting for the best interest of our land and freedom. It informed that Lotha Regional Council, NNC will be hosting the general meeting.
