School director informs on DPSE course

Kohima, July 25 (MExN): Director of School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe has notified to all in-service teachers (Pre-Primary Section Teachers) interested to undergo Diploma in Pre-School Education (DPSE) course at SCERT for the session of 2018-20, Nagaland to submit application addressed to the Director of School Education, Kohima. The application is to be forwarded by the SDEO concerned with NOC from the Head Teacher. The last date of application submission is July 30, 2018.  

Doyang fish to be sold in Kohima

Kohima, July 25 (MExN): The Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Nagaland will be selling fresh Doyang fish at Modern Fish Kiosk, Keziekie and PHQ junction, BOC in Kohima on July 27 from 6:00 am onwards. A press release from the Director of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Kevisa Kense has informed the public to avail the opportunity.  

One held with Brown Sugar in Tobu

Tobu, July 25 (MExN): The Tobu Town Students’ Union (TTSU) has informed that the Tobu Police Station apprehended drug peddler W Hamten on July 21 with around 20 gm of Brown Sugar. The union in a press release from president, Khamba H and press secretary, Bangting acknowledged the police and hoped that the Tobu Police Station will continue to render such service for the welfare of the society.  

AYO mourns

Kohima, July 25 (MExN): Angami Youth Organization (AYO) has expressed pain at the demise of Rovi Nagi at Vidima village, Dimapur on July 25. “He contributed in serving in various responsible capacities in our community as well as various other Naga civil bodies until he passed away,” AYO said in a condolence note. “He was a dedicated person whose absence would create a vacuum both in the community and our hearts.” AYO prayed that God will grant solace to the bereaved family.
