Annual GPF statement available online
Kohima, July 31 (MExN): All the GPF subscribers of the State Government have been informed that the Annual GPF statement for the year 2017-18 has been uploaded on the PAG office website on July 31, 2018. A press release from Senior Accounts Officer, GPF Branch of Principal Accountant General (PAG) has requested the GPF subscribers to go to the office website at agnagaland.gov.in, click on the link ‘click here for Online GPF System’ and click on the subscriber login with the confidential PIN received on the registered mobile number. In case of any problem they may contact the Helpdesk for assistance and guidance, it added.
NSCN (IM) mourns
Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Lhouhuzu-u Venuh, mother of Lieut. Col. (retd.) Ape Venuh, member of the Collective Leadership and Neitsolo Venuh, Executive Member, Steering Committee. She breathed her last at Thetsümi village (Chakhesang Region) on July 29 at the age of 102, informed a condolence message from MIP, NSCN (IM). It further said that the Caretaker CAO, Chakhesang Region conveyed that “the region has lost another God fearing mother who woke up every morning at 3 AM to pray for the Naga nation.” The GPRN and the Chakhesang national workers in particular extended condolences and prayed to the Almighty God to grant solace to the bereaved family.
CAWA mourns death
Phek, July 31 (MExN): The Chokri Area Wrestling Association (CAWA) has expressed shock over the demise of Chosanyi Rose on July 30. In a condolence message, the association remembered him as a prominent wrestler. “The association will continue to honour his achievement and the work done towards the wrestling association,” stated the message issued by CAWA president, Zazhota Dawhuo. It further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to God to give strength, comfort and peace to his wife and family members.
NCSU offers condolences
Kohima, July 31 (MExN): The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) head office Kohima has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Chosanyi Rose, Advisor of Phek district NCSU unit. “In his early departure the NCSU has lost such good leader,” stated a condolence message from NCSU president, Pele Khezhie and general secretary, John Kath. The union conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grant them solace.
