DEO on Teachers' day flags
Kohima, August 9 (MExN): Districts Education Officer and Sub-divisional Education Officers have been informed to collect Teachers' Day token flags from August 13 to 21 from the Directorate of School Education, Kohima at Room-38. A release received here informed all heads of schools, both government and private, to collect the token flags from their respective DEO and SDEO without fail.
PDNCSU social work on Aug 13
Peren, August 9 (MExN): The Peren District Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union (PDNCSU) has informed that there will be a social work on August 13 at the Peren-Jalukie road. A press note from the union invited all members and well wishers to participate in the social work and assist in any possible way. The union asked all its members to report to Jalukie by August 12 evening.
DoSE notifies D.El.Ed trainees
Kohima, August 9 (MExN): All the NIOS D.El.Ed trainees who failed to attend the first year PCP at their respective study centre have been informed that a special PCP will be organized at GHSS, Jotosma, Kohima from August 18-31. A release from Wonthungo Tsopoe, Director, School Education has informed trainees intending to attend the PCP to register their names by sending details of name of trainee, En. No and name of study centre allotted through email to ghssjotsoma@gmail.com on or before August 16.
Zunheboto district task force committee meeting postponed
Zunheboto, August 9 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Shanavas C, IAS has informed that the meeting of the District Task Force Committee for selection of beneficiaries under PMEGP year 2018-19 which was scheduled to be held on August 13 at 12:00 noon in the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto has been postponed to September 5 and 6. Therefore, all concerned have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
Kohima vill bodies condemn rape
Kohima, August 9 (MExN): Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) and Kewhimiapfü Mechü Krotho (KMK) have condemned the rape incident of a mother on the night of August 2 within its jurisdiction. The bodies in a joint condemnation note appended by Dzüvinguzo Mepfhüo, President, KVYO and Neipfeü Suokhrie, President, KMK urged the law enforcing agencies to deal with the accused in the strongest possible manner so that this kind of act is not repeated in the society. KVYO and KMK also appealed the authorities not to grant bail rather book the accused with severest punishment.
Jotsoma vill to observe ‘Chadanyi’
Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The Jotsoma Village will have its ‘Chadanyi’ on August 11 which is celebrated on August 20 every year. To mark Chadanyi (repair or construction of footpath and on way to field), all the respective khels and colonies of Jotsoma Village will repair and clean its own footpath and colony surrounding, President Khrietuo Peseyie, General Secretary Rokozhalie Gwirie and Press Secretary Rokotuolie Nakhro informed in a press release.
It further informed that the Jotsoma Youth Organization (JYO) in collaboration with the PWD (Road & Bridges), Science College, Jotsoma, Sazolie College, Jotsoma, Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma, DDK Kohima, Jotsoma, will repair drainage and road surface of TN Angami road from 6:00 am to 8:00 am and British Victory Road from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm along with BIM. Chadanyi will be celebrated the whole day, it also added.
The JYO has requested all people residing in its jurisdiction and Jotsoma villagers residing outside its jurisdiction to take part in the Nyi.
