ICD PTA meet
Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Immanual College, Dimapur (ICD) will hold its Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) meet for Degree students for the session 2019-2020, on August 31, at 10:00 am at the College Conference Hall. This was informed in a press release issued by the PTA, Convener Immanuel College, Natty Chang. It further informed all the parents/ guardians to attend the meeting without fail.
DM, KMC inform on ‘Fit India Movement’
Dimapur, August 27 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) and the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) today informed on the arrangement made for the launching of “Fit India Movement” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on August 29. 'Fitness Pledge’ will also be taken in all the urban local bodies during the live telecast on Doordashan from Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. In this connection and in accordance with the directive of the State government, both DMC and KMC have arranged TV sets in their respective offices to witness the said Telecast at 10:00 am. Administrator DMC, Moa Sangtam, in a press release, has invited all the representatives of Colony council and GBs to witness the said Live telecast at the DMC office. Meanwhile, the KMC Administrator Kovi Meyase, in a separate release, also requested all the wards under KMC to make necessary arrangement like TV sets and mobilize maximum gathering in the respective wards/panchayat halls etc to witness the event. The same is to be documented and reported along with short videos clipping and photographs should be submitted to the KMC on or before August 31 for onward submission to the government, he added.
