CM Rio greets teachers

Dimapur, September 4 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today conveyed greetings to all the teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s day. “Happy #TeachersDay to all who play the role of a teacher. You are invaluable in any society because you shape its future with the impact you have on your students and are builders of their character. Best wishes to you all as you devote yourselves for the edification of students,” twitted Rio in his official twitter account.

 

DNSU conveys greetings to teachers 

Dimapur, September 4 (MExN): The Dimapur Naga Students' Union (DNSU) today expressed gratitude towards the teachers’ community. In a press release by DNSU Media Cell, the Union conveyed its warm greetings to all the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. Further, the Union acknowledged the teachers for rendering their best service in molding the students for a better future and also reminded them “to continue to give their 100% at all times.”

 

RTO Kohima informs 

Kohima, September 4 (MExN): In view of the training on VAHAN 4.0 for the staff members of the Regional Transport Office, Kohima, Regional Transport Officer, Kohima, S Yaongsanglee Chang has informed that there will be no public interview from September 9 to 13.

 

Sinai Ministry to hold 4-day mission conference 

Dimapur, September 4 (MExN): Sinai Ministry will be organizing a 4-day mission conference from September 5 till 8 at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur, under the theme ‘Go Revival Conference: Igniting the Passion for Missions.’ Dr Kethoser (Aniu) Kevichusa, Speaker & Trainer, RZIM Life Focus Society, and Pastor Wabang Longchari, Director, Sinai Ministry, will be among the speakers at the Conference. A press release from the Ministry stated the morning sessions from 9:00 am will be for registered delegates only, the evening Gospel Hour from 5:30 pm will be open to all. Sinai Ministry has extended an open invitation to all to come and attend the Gospel Hour, and “to bring the sick and afflicted if any, and also anyone who needs special prayer for any specific reason.”

 

39th SGPB meet on September 6

Dimapur, September 4 (MExN): The Directorate of Geology and Mining, Government of Nagaland has scheduled to hold its 39th session of the State Geological Programming Board (SGPB) meeting on September 6, at its Conference Hall, Dimapur. Joint Director, S Manen in a press release stated renowned scientists, technocrats and policy makers of the related organizations/departments from both within and outside the state will participate to evaluate the ongoing departmental activities and formulate the coming field season programme of the department.

 

Aggrieved grade IV (Ad-hoc) employees meeting

Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The Aggrieved Grade 1V (Ad-hoc) employees of School Education Department who have undergone Departmental Physical Verification and screening test for regularization conducted by the District Education Committee under the direction of the Government has convened an emergency meeting on September 10, 11:00 am at Lotha Hoho Ki located near the Sumo Taxi station at Kezieke colony, Kohima. Ad-Hoc Convener, Limhathung Murry in a press release has therefore, requested the entire grade IV incumbents from all districts to attend the meeting with their appointment order, last extension order, court fee, recommendation letter of the District Education Committee forwarded by the concerned DEO/SDEO and Aadhaar card and give their consent to appeal for regularization to the higher authority. Absentees without genuine reason shall be excluded in claiming the benefits at par with this group, the release informed. Tuensang Police arrests one 

Tuensang, September 4 (MExN): A team of Tuensang Police personnel led by SDPO Tuensang on August 31 arrested one Wongtochu Chang (35 years) from Noklak district. During the raid conducted at St John ‘B’ Sector Tuensang, 20,059 (twenty thousand fifty nine) numbers of Spasmo Proxyvon (SP) capsule were recovered from his possession. Superintendent of Police, Tuensang in a press release stated in this connection, a criminal case vide Tuensang Police Station has been registered.
