Two sets of question papers for HSLC & HSSLC exam 2020
Kohima, September 6 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) in a notification stated that in continuation of the notification published in the Result Gazette of HSLC & HSSLC Examinations 2019, it has been notified for information of all concerned that two sets of Question Papers for the three subjects at the ensuing HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2020 shall be administered/used separately for the repeaters and regular candidates. The subjects are HSLC: Science; HSSLC: Business Studies Accountancy and Entrepreneurship. This has been necessitated due to revision of syllabus and textbooks. Repeaters who intend to appear the HSLC Examination 2020 & HSSLC Examination 2020 (Commerce stream) are advised to read the respective textbooks of the subjects which they have studied earlier and appear the examination accordingly.
NPC organizes thanks giving service
Kohima, September 6 (MExN): The Nagaland Peace Centre (NPC), Kohima on the occasion of the 54th Ceasefire Anniversary organized a thanks giving service to commemorate the ‘Peace Day’ on September 6 at the Conference Hall of the Hotel Pine, Midland, Kohima .The service was held under the newly elected Chairman Pedi Miachieo after observing 2 minutes silence in respect of former Chairman Late N Theyo, informed a press release issued by NPC Chairman, Pedi Miachieo.
Treasury officer Peren informs pensioners
Peren, September 6 (MExN): All the pensioners drawing pension from Treasury Office, Peren have been informed that the ‘Annual Pensioners' Physical Verification’ for the year 2019 will be held from September 16 to 18 circle wise, as mentioned: September 16-Jalukie, Athibung & Ngwalwa Circle: September 17-Tening Circle and September 18 – Peren Circle. This was informed in a press release issued by Limatemsu, Treasury Officer Peren.
Tuensang Police recovers 20,057 nos of ‘illegal drugs’
Tuensang, September 6 (MExN): The Tuensang Police personnel led by SDPO Tuensang conducted raid at St John ‘B’ Sector Tuensang on August 31 and seized 20,059 nos of Spasmo Proxyvon (SP) capsule from the possession of one, Wongtochu Chang (35 Yrs), a resident of St. John ‘B’ Sector, Tuensang. This was informed in a press release issued by Superintendent of Police, Tuensang. “ In this connection, a criminal case vide Tuensang PS C/No. 25/19 U/S 22 (C ) NDPS Act r/w 27 (B) (ii) DC Act has been registered,” it informed. Meanwhile, the release added that controlling the drugs menace was one of the top priorities of Tuensang Police for which special teams were created. School and college going students take this drugs which are harmful for their lives and career, it mentioned. Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Schedule H mentions that drugs should not be prescribed over the counter without proper records maintenance, it stated, adding that the motive was to make the “society drugs-free and to save youth from this menace.”
ANSTRU emergency meet
Dimapur, September 6 (MExN): All the members of All Nagaland State Transport running Staff Union (ANSTRU) has been informed that there will be an emergency meeting on September 14 at 9:00 am at Old NST Office Complex, regarding its “trip allowances which has not been enhanced till date.” This was informed in a press release issued by the ANSTRU HQ President, Vimedo Chase and General Secretary, R Loyamba. It requested all the 11 district unit presidents to attend the meeting along with 2 members each from their respective unit without fail on the said date. It further informed the members to bring yearly membership fee along with some new agendas for the welfare of the union.
