Dimapur Police arrests two for extortion
Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): The Dimapur Police apprehend two persons namely, Vikheshe Achumi (49 yrs) and Mughato Swu (37 yrs) at city tower area, Dimapur on September 6 on charges of extortion. The police also seized Rs 15,000 cash along with demand note belonging to NSCN Khango(K) from their possession. This was informed in a press release issued by the Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur. “In this connection a case has been registered at West Police station and investigation is on,” the Addl Dy Comissioner said.
Unidentified body in District Hospital morgue
Dimapur, September 7 (MExN): One unidentified male (Non-Local) around 60 yrs who was brought to the district civil hospital for medical treatment by a non-local of Netaji colony, Dimapur died at District Hospital on September 3 at 5:10 pm. This was informed in a press release issued by Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police/PRO Dimapur. “In this connection all legal formalities were conducted and later the dead body has been shifted to the District Hospital Morgue for further identification,” it added.
