DMC details officials to conduct inspection

Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) Administrator Albert Ezung has detailed certain officials and staff of DMC to conduct inspection or checkup in the field of all unauthorized cut or dressed and processed meat (Pork/Beef) selling in the open/roadside in violation of the office order No. DMC/Vety-1/2010-11:619-624 dated October 23. The officials are: Dr Sentinungla, Deputy Director; Dr Sentimoa Longkumer, VAS, DMC; T Revo Anar, Enforcement Inspector; Inaka Zhimomi, Inspector; Hotokhe, LDA and Aghoto Sema, G-IV.

 

KMC directs removal of building materials, off road vehicles

Kohima, November 19 (MExN): In pursuance of the recent order issued by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all concerned under Kohima municipality to immediately remove all construction and building materials/off road vehicles, unused pipelines and hanging water cables pipelines lying along the Highways and roadside. Stating that such materials are causing immense obstructions to free flow of traffic and pedestrians, the KMC Administrator Kovi Meyase in a notice cautioned that the materials will be removed, confiscated and disposed off as deemed fit and defaulters will be penalized if the order is not complied with.  Off road vehicles will be towed away by the police at the cost of the owners, the notice added.

 

DC Mkg informs on NEPEx

Mokokchung, November 19 (MExN): A state-wide Mega mock exercise will take place on November 21 under the banner of the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) and under the aegis of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA). Limawabang Jamir, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung in a press release stated that NEPEx is only a preparedness exercise and is not a warning of any impending disaster. The DC, in this regard urged the public not to panic but to cooperate with the authorities for smooth conduct of the mock exercise. The public have also been requested not to spread rumors which may cause fear psychosis.
