AGEGAN informs on registration 

Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): Agricultural Engineering Graduates Association of Nagaland (AGEGAN) has informed all the Agricultural Engineering Graduates who are yet to register with the Association to register before December 15. WSKH mourns demise of member

Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): The Western Sumi Kukami Hoho (WSKH) has mourned the demise of Bohoi Aye, Atokukau (Head GB) of Khehoi Village, Dhansiripar sub-division, Dimapur who passed away on November 21. The WSKH in a condolence message from President Vihuto S Yeptho and General Secretary Kuhovi Zhimo expressed grief on the demise of an able village chief village and a valuable member of the WSKH. It said that the Hoho has lost a young and promising Head GB who represented his village in various forums in the best of his abilities. At this time of grief, WSKH extended deepest condolences to his family and the people of Khehoi village and prayed that the “Almighty God” give peace, solace and strength to bear the loss. 

 

ULFA (I) cadre apprehended in Mon

Mon, November 23 (MExN): Continuing with crackdown on illegal activities, troops of Indian Army and Assam Rifles apprehended an ULFA (I) cadre with arms and ammunitions on November 18. Based on specific intelligence regarding presence of ULFA (I) cadre in general area lower Tiru, Mon district, troops of Indian Army and Assam Rifles launched a joint search operation and apprehended an ULFA Linkman Dharmendra Sonowar, (38 years), resident of Singlopather, Assam. Recoveries included one pt 22 pistol with magazine, five live rds of pt 22 mm and extortion register. The apprehendee along with recoveries was handed over to Naginimora Police Station further investigation.
