Dimapur Night Carnival extends date for form submission
Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): “Due to the request and demand of the public and entrepreneurs,” Dimapur Night Carnival 2019 organisers have informed that the last date of form submission has been extended till December 2. Stalls will be allotted on first come first basis. JCYO announces new team
Kohima, November 25 (MExN): The Jail Colony Youth Organization (JCYO), Kohima has announced its new team of office bearers. The new team is being led by president, Achubu Kuotsu; vice president, Nei-u Tachü and Vikeheito Neikha, general secretary. Meanwhile, the action committee members include Ruokuo Rüpre-o, Job, Noito Kirha, Mereseto Richa, Ato Kips, K. Zeliang, Avito, Inaka, Avi Zhima, Adun and Seyie.
Life of Hope Ministry holds ‘love feast’
Dimapur, November 25 (MExN): Life of Hope Ministry, United North Block-A Burma Camp organized a ‘Love Feast’ programme with the children and staff on November 16. A press release from Bendangwati stated the programme shared the values and importance of love among each other. It was followed by a love feast.
Kohima Police arrests three
Kohima, November 25 (MExN): A team of Kohima Police seized 200 bottles of Codeine Phosphate cough syrup (banned drug) from a local taxi below BSF Camp, Keyake, Kohima on November 19. In this connection, the driver of the said vehicle identified as Vesakhoyi Vasa (24 years) Nuvotso Vasa, resident of Seikhazou, ‘D’ Khel, Kohima was arrested for illegal possession and transportation of banned drug. As per a press release from PRO DEF Kohima, on further investigation, two more persons were arrested for involvement in the illegal sale of the banned drug namely - Bibek Dey (32 years), resident of ‘D’ Block, Kohima and Mhasevoyi Nyekha (35 years), resident of Dzülha. Initial investigation revealed that two accused have been indulging in the illegal drug business for quite some time. In this connection, a regular case has been registered at North Police Station under NDPS Act and further investigation was on.
