NEET, NSEE successful candidates informed

Kohima, July 18 (MExN): Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed all the student candidates who have been selected to undergo various courses through NEET and NSEE, 2018 to verify their documents from the office of NSF with the following documents: one recent passport size photo; HSSLC Admit Card, Schedule Tribe certificate; Indigenous Certificate, Aadhaar card; Parent/Guardian Election Voter ID card. According to a press release from NSF assistant general secretary, Boketo Kiho, the verification will be jointly conducted by the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) and Education Committee of NSF. “With the past years instances of non-indigenous candidates applying from the State quota, the selected candidates for the year 2018 failing to verify their documents will be considered as not eligible and necessary steps would be initiated against the defaulters,” the release cautioned.  

CGY leaders go on exposure tour

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): Chumukedima Gorkha Youth (CGY) leaders comprising the president and executive members went on an exposure trip to Guwahati on July 16 with an objective to take learning to a new level with hands on experience, informed a press release from the organization’s president, Manoj Shrestha.  

NSCN (IM) expresses grief

Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): The Steering Secretariat of NSCN (IM) has expressed grief and sadness over the demise of one of its senior most workers, P. Jonah, Steering Committee Member, NSCN from Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) who breathed his last on July 17 at Eden Hospital, Dimapur. “The Naga Nation has lost a faithful National worker and a great leader, leaving a vacuum in the National service that will not be easy to fill. The Naga Nation will always cherish the selfless service he had rendered with pride and honour,” stated a condolence message from Samson Jajo, Steering Executive Member on behalf of the Convenor. Expressing heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, it further prayed to the Almighty God to grant eternal rest to the departed soul.
