Dearness Relief to State Govt pensioners

Kohima, January 19 (DIPR): With the introduction of the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017, the Government of Nagaland has granted the Dearness Relief to the State Government pensioners/family pensioners for the purpose of fixation of pension under the Nagaland Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017 at the following rates - With effect from 01.06.2017: 4% With effect from 01.07.2017: 5% Payment of Dearness Relief involving a fraction of a rupee shall be rounded off to the next higher rupee. The Principal Accountant General, Nagaland, has been requested to circulate this O.M. to the Accountants General of all States so that Pensioners of the Government of Nagaland drawing pensions under their jurisdiction may be authorized for payment of this relief at the earliest.  

DC Dimapur calls editors, proprietors of cable TV, printing press for meeting

Dimapur, January 19 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) has called for a meeting of all Editors of Print Media in Dimapur, Proprietors of Cable TV and proprietors of Printing press in Dimapur. The meeting would be held on January 20, 1:00 pm at the Conference Hall of DC Dimapur, in connection with conduct of Elections to the 13thNagaland Legislative Assembly. All concern have been requested to attend the meeting positively.  

DEO Pughoboto convenes meeting

Pughoboto, January 19 (DIPR): A meeting of all political parties for fixation of rates of different items of expenditure and briefing on the Model Code of Conduct has been convened by ADC & DEO, Pughoboto, Avelu Ruho on January 20, 11:00 am. In this regard, all the political parties have been asked to positively attend the meeting at the office Chamber of the ADC & DEO, Pughoboto. The ADC & DEO has also informed all Election Teams under Pughoboto that there will be a meeting on January 20. All team members are directed to attend the meeting failing which disciplinary action will be initiated against the absentees.
