Co-ordination meeting held at Meluri
DIMAPUR, JULY 25 (MExN): ADC Meluri, Rhosietho Ngouri convened a co-ordination meeting with all heads of offices and institutions under Meluri on July 25 at DBs Hall. Rhosietho in his welcome address called upon the officers posted in the sub-division to be responsible since the area people have high expectations from them. During the meeting, Independence Day programme was chalked out and works were distributed. General social work will be held on August 8 starting from 6 am, it was decided. During the meeting, Meluri Sub-Division Departmental Co-ordination Committee was formed with the ADC as the Convenor. The board also decided to have co-ordination meeting once in two months. He requested all the departments to submit their department’s allotment patta and map by August 2018, a DIPR report stated.
Fish feeds distributed to Kohima district fish farmers
DIMAPUR, JULY 25 (MExN): The Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources distributed fish feeds (wheat bran and mustard oil cake-MOC) to fish farmers of Kohima district under Blue Revolution (NEEL KRANTI) on July 25, 2018 at Kohima. At the distribution, DFO Kohima, Dory Yanthan dwelt about the importance of supplementary feeding and how to prepare the feeds for better and faster growth of fish. She also encouraged the farmers to work harder and be self-reliant. DFO also thanked the department for providing feeds to the local fish farmers for better farming and to boost the fish culture industries in Nagaland. Altogether 50 farmers were benefited.
NBSE notifies on Financial Literary exam
DIMAPUR, JULY 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified that the Financial Literacy examination for Class IX & X will be held on August 10, 2018. In this connection, the schools offering Financial Literacy course have been informed to note the following: 1. The examination will be conducted from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. 2. The question paper will consists of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) 3. The result shall be submitted to the Board on or before 18th August 2018. 4. The Question Paper should be collected from the Board's Office from 1st - 6th August 2018 on working days during Office hours. The Confidential packet of Financial Literacy shall be issued to the head of institutions or duly authorized official only, a DIPR report informed.
