Appeal to urgently restore collapsed bridges

Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The Western Sumi Hoho has fervently appealed to the concerned Nagaland government department to urgently restore the collapsed bridges between New Showuba and Vihokhu, and Nihoto villages. Western Sumi Hoho, President, Zheshito Swu and General Secretary, Vikato K. Achumi in a press release said that with the collapsed bridges, lifeline to Niuland has been almost cut off with the only alternative route from Patkai-Seithiekema - Kuhuboto – Niuland which is very tedious and makes the route longer by almost two hours. Thousands of public of the area and hundreds of villages have been isolated from Dimapur town owing to the severed connectivity. Therefore, in the interest of the public, the WSH requests the state government to put in all its machineries and resources available to restore normalcy in the connectivity.  

State Level Science Seminar on Oct 5

DRDA Dimapur sensitization programme held

Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): The sensitization programme on ‘Mission Antyodaya Gram Samridhi Evam Swachato Pakhwada’ organized by DRDA Dimapur was held at RD Block Chumukedima Conference Hall on September 27. VDB secretaries and village functionaries from 23 selected villages under RD Blocks, Dimapur attended the programme. Along Pongen, DC-MIS, NSRLM, DRDA and Aoyangla, LDA, RD Block Medziphema were the resource person. Aghunaqa BDO Narola Imkong and Dhansaripar BDO H. Bohoto and all the DRDA, Block, NRLM officials and staffs attended the programme.  

NMSA 22nd general conference

Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Medical Students’ Association (NMSA) is organizing its 22nd general conference from September 29 to October 1, at the Jubilee Memorial Centre, Lerie, Kohima. The programme will be graced by the Minister, Health and Family Welfare Imkong L. Imchen, The Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Menukhol John and the Principal Director, Health and Family Welfare Dr. N. Bendang Jamir. The programme will be attended by delegates from different institutes, senior doctors and well-wishers.
