Biennial Election to Council of State in Nagaland Kohima, March 3 (DIPR): According to a communiqué from the Election Department, the Biennial Election to the Council of State in Nagaland due to death of sitting member shall be held in accordance with the following programme: Issue of Notifications: March 4 Last date of making nominations: March 11 Scrutiny of nominations: March 12 Last date for withdrawal of candidatures: March 14 Date of poll: March 21 Hours of poll: 9.00 am to 4.00 pm Counting of votes: March 21 (Monday) at 5.00 pm Date before which election shall be completed:  March 23 (Wednesday)   DC Phek informs Phek, March 3 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner Phek, Muruho Chotso has informed that 46 Assam Rifle, Phek is conducting small arms firing practice at firing range from March 1 to 31 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All the Phek town dwellers have been warned not to go near firing zone during the aforesaid period.  

Graduate Teacher’s Peren district informs   Peren, March 3 (MExN): Graduate Teachers whose seniority has been counted with effect from the date of joining as per 2015 seniority list under Peren district are requested to compulsorily paid Rs. 3000/- (three thousand) only, as per the meeting resolution on February 5 at CANSSEA office Kohima, on or before 12th March 2016 for submission to the central office on March 15. Stern action will be taken against the absentees.   Youth Worship and Mission Conference Dimapur, March 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Missions Movement and Baptist Youth Fellowship Dimapur is organizing ‘Youth Worship and Mission Conference’ under the theme: "Raise the Anthem", at Dimapur Rengma Baptist Church with Moses Largado, and Rev. Kilang Jamir as speakers, from March 4 to 6 opening to all youth members in and around Dimapur.
