Traffic regulation in view of 11th session of 12th NLA Kohima, March 11 (MExN): In view of the 11th session of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from March 15 to 19, the following traffic regulation will be enforced as part of the security arrangement. 1. Only vehicles with appropriate car passes will be allowed entry to the Assembly Secretariat. 2. No vehicle will be allowed to be parked by the roadside from 0600 Hrs onwards from March 15 to 19 in the following routes: a)    From BSNL Telephone Exchange till Classic Island. b) From Raj Bhavan till M.S Classic Island. c)    From Classic Island till Assembly Secretariat via Razhü Point. 3.    Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply from High School junction to Assembly Secretariat via Sanuoru subway during Assembly Session, except Govt. departmental buses. 4.    Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply in Kohima town during Assembly session, from 0700 hrs till the session is over. All loading and unloading of goods in Kohima town should be completed by 0700 hrs, during Assembly Sessions. 5.    Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to be parked along the " D" Block road. While anticipating positive co-operation from the public, the Police will tow away the defaulting vehicles and the charges will be borne by the vehicle owners. This was stated in a press release issued by Sr. Superintendent of Police, Kohima.  

DIC Zunheboto invite applicants Zunheboto, March 11 (MExN): The District Industries Centre, Zunheboto has invited applications from bonafide local unemployed candidates under Zunheboto District for undergoing 9 months handicraft training to commence from April 1. Minimum education qualification is 8 passed. Application with biodata should be submitted to DIC on or before March 28 during office hour. Selection of candidates will be held on March 30 at 10:00 am, in the office chamber of the general manager. DIC, Zunheboto, General Manager has informed that a stipend of Rs 500/- will be given during the training period, but, there is no job guarantee after the training.   Jakhama villager trained on powder & gel making Dimapur, March 11 (MExN): One day training on Detergent Powder and Dish Wash Gel for Jakhama villager NSRLM SHGs was organised by BMMU Jakhama in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kedra Sangatham (NYKS). Khovi Thaprü, BDO Jakhama who was present at the event encouraged the SHGs to upgrade their skills and be enterprising and focus on income generating activities. Two trainers, Ketholenuo, Project Officer, NCUI Kohima and Ketoseno gave hands on training to the SHGs Ketholenuo also  urged the SHGs to make best use of the training so that they can produce for their own home use and also sell it in the market for extra income. The program was chaired by Kenivole Richa, Block Program Manager, a press note informed.
