Centre inauguration
Dimapur, April 4 (DIPR): Minister of State for Textiles (Independent charge) Santosh Kumar Gangwar will inaugurate the Apparel & Garment Making Centre in the presence of Chief Minister of Nagaland, TR Zeliang at 6th Mile, District Industries Centre complex Dimapur at 1:00 PM on April 5. After the inauguration, the chief guest will lay the foundation stone for Muga P3 Basic Seed Station Kobulong, Mokokchung, Nagaland and also launching of Newly Approved Integrated Eri Silk Development Project under NERTPS for women empowerment and sustainable livelihood in Kohima district.
ANHTU emergency meeting on April 8
Kohima, April 4 (MExN): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) will convey an executive body emergency meeting on April 8 at Bharat Scout and Guide Building Conference Hall at 11:00 A:M. The Union President Rometo Sema requested to All District Unit President & Secretary compulsory to attend the meeting without fail. Central Body all Office Bearer and Advisory Board Members compulsory attained the meeting.
BJP Kohima dist meeting
Kohima, April 4 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kohima district will hold a meeting on April 6 at Hotel Hut, opposite head office Kohima. All the district office bearers, mandal presidents, frontal chief and senior party leaders have been requested to attend the said meeting positively.
MMU Camp cum LLIN
distribution at Yezashi Village
Zunheboto, April 4 (MExN): The District Health Society, Zunheboto organised MMU Camp cum LLIN distribution in collaboration with NVBDCP at Yezashi Village on March 31. The camp was assisted by Dr. Heto, SMO Aghunato CHC, Dr. Puloto, MO, Aghunato CHC and assisted by BPM, GNM's, Pharmacist and Opthalmic Assistant of Aghunato CHC. The camp administered to 70 patients. During the camp 9 Immunization was given, 18 refractive errors was screened and 2 cataract case detected. Sample blood test was carried out by the technician on NVBDCP. Free IEC materials were distributed and 2 (Two) FGD session on Child and Maternal Health was carried out. Hekuto, MI (NVBDCP) shared about the awareness on LLIN's and the importance of Healthy lifestyle and living followed by distribution of LLIN.
Lecture at RCEMPA Jotsoma
Kohima, April 4 (DIPR): A lecture on ‘the relevance of boutique/village hotel design for Nagaland’ will be held on April 7 at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma. The lecture will be delivered by Ar. Made Wijaya while the programme will chaired by Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Nagaland, C. Apok Jamir. According to the programme, the welcome address will be given by Secretary, Tourism Department, Angau I. Thou, IAS and vote of thanks will be delivered by President, Nagaland Tourism Association, Vincent Belho. There will also be an interactive session during the programme.
