NSCN (IM) condoles
Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The rank and file of NSCN (IM) have condoled the death of Kamjalen, APO KTO, who “died in the line of duty defending our land, our culture, our history and our future.” In a condolence message addressed to D. Portia Lupheng, wife of the deceased, Kilonser, Ministry of Kilo Affairs, Vekiye Awomi stated, “We understand that all of us are born for mission to accomplish, not to abort it. Like it or not, we have a war to fight, a song to sing and a life to give but, for a good cause.” He acknowledged that “those departed brothers and sisters have given their everything for the good cause.” Stating that they have lost a good leader like Kamjalen, the Kilonser expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. “He has contributed his service freely for the nation. Though he is no more, his valuable service will be always remembered,” the note added. It further prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. 

EPIC distribution in Bhandari A/c
Wokha, March 7 (MExN): All voters under 40 Bhandari A/C have been informed that distribution of Electors Photo Identity Cards (EPIC) will “tentatively” commence from March 7 to 9 in the respective polling stations/ distribution camps unless further notified. Distribution of EPIC will be made in the presence of BLOs, VCMs, GBs, recognized political parties and other village authorities. Hence, all concerned have been directed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Orenthung Lotha to be present in their polling stations/ distribution camps on the above mentioned dates so as to ensure free and fair distribution of EPIC. 

AR Director General visits ARTC&S
DIMAPUR, MARCH 7 (MExN): Lt General Ranbir Singh, PVSM, AVSM, SM, Director General Assam Rifles visited Assam Rifles Training Centre & School, Dimapur on March 6.  A press note informed that Singh had come to felicitate the Assam Rifles Firing Team, the winner of the 14th All India Police Shooting Competition held at Diphu from February 23 to 28. He awarded all the medal winners and made a special mention of awarding with Commendation Card to the skilled Marksmen on Assam Rifles Day. The Assam Rifles had won the competition by a huge margin by defeating 31 teams of various Central Armed Police Forces.

NPF Central Women Wing meeting
Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The NPF Central Women Wing has convened a general meeting with divisional and A/C presidents on March 11, 11:00 am at conference hall, NPF Central HQs, Kohima. Therefore, all the Women Wing presidents and general secretaries of the 13 divisions and 60 assembly constituencies have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
