DC Mon notifies on total lockdown extension

Mon, August 2 (MExN): Mon Deputy Commissioner Thavaseelan K has notified that the total lockdown which was imposed in Mon town and Tizit sub-division on July 26 has been extended for another 7 days. The extended lockdown which will be in force from August 3 to 9 has strictly restricted movement of public except on medical emergencies. All business/commercial establishments, shops are to remain closed. Movement of private vehicles has also been banned, except those permitted. All social/cultural/religious/academic gathering will be banned. Not more than 20 persons will be permitted in case of funerals. A register containing the names and contact details of all those who attend must be mandatorily maintained and submitted to the concerned subdivision officers. No movement will be permitted in or out of Mon Sadar and Tizit sub division. Any persons found violating this order will be penalised under relevant provisions of the law, the DC’s order stated. In another notification, the DC informed that the total lockdown in Phonching sub-division has also been extended till August 9 with the same guidelines as mentioned for Mon sadar and Tizit sub-division.

Home delivery of essential commodities in Mon
    
Mon, August 2 (MExN): In view of the total lockdown being enforced in Mon Town, Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K, informed that a special arrangement has been made for home delivery of essential commodities. All those wanting to get essential commodities have been informed to contact the given numbers: 7005456160/8730094325. A DIPR report stated that minimum order for home delivery in Mon Town is Rs 100 subject to delivery charges. Delivery will be done from Monday to Saturday. Orders can be placed between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and delivery will be made after 1:00 pm. Delivery will depend on availability in the market and price may vary, it added. While informing that delivery will be done only outside the Containment Zones, the DC has also informed that respective Ward Task Force may be contacted for delivery within the Containment Zones.
No bulk order will be entertained and a maximum daily limit has been set as given below:
1. Rice - 10 kgs per family.
2. Dal - 2 kgs per family.
3. Potato - 2 kgs per family.
4. Mustard Oil -1 litre per family.

Zinyü Gas Service to resume operation

Dimapur, August 2 (MExN): The Zinyü Gas Service has informed its customers that its LPG service operation will resume shortly with added precautions and safety protocols. The notification was issued after the RT-PCR test report of one of its employees who passed away on July 25 returned negative.  For any enquires, customers have been informed to contact 7005716413 or 8259062987.

Dimapur: Flu Corner Service to be available 24x7 in COVID Hospital

Dimapur, August 2 (MExN): The Flu Corner of COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur will be in service 24x7 as usual, Dr Z Kheshito Zhimomi, Medical Superintendent, COVID-19 Hospital Dimapur informed on Monday.
COVID-19 sample collection and testing will be available 24x7, the MS informed in a press release.
Other activities for testing have been mentioned below:
1.    All SARI and ILI cases.
2.    All contact tracing from District Surveillance Unit, Chief Medical Office (CMO) Dimapur.
3.    All patients in need of admission will be admitted in Isolation Ward for management and for TrueNat testing.
4.    All patients undergoing chemotherapy, Chronic Kidney Disease on dialysis and emergency operation cases referred from the concerned doctor/ hospital.
5.    All other testing criteria according to the Government guidelines.
