
NBSE notifies candidates with special needs
Kohima, January 7 (MExN): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all Heads of Institutions and candidates with special needs appearing the HSLC and HSSLC 2022 Examinations to submit application for any concession/exemption, if they have not applied earlier to the Board. The application should be forwarded by the Head of the Institution where the candidate is studying with relevant medical certificate, and stating the specific concession/exemption required, as provided under the NBSE Management of Examination Rules.
The application can be sent through e-mail at hslcorder@gmail.com and hsslcorder@gmail.com on or before January 21, 2022.
DC Mon informs on ILP
Mon, January 7 (MExN): DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, IAS on January 6, issued a circular stating that all domestic and foreign tourists, traders, businessmen, students, labourers, priests, teachers and anyone else who needs to obtain Inner Line Permit (ILP) to enter Mon district can now obtain the same online at www.ilp.nagalnd.gov.in by following the instructions indicated therein.
NSCN (IM) mourn demise of Athisü Dehe
Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the untimely demise of Athisü Dehe, Razou Peyu of NSCN/GPRN on January 5 after a prolonged illness. Dehe from Kaibi village under Shepoumaramth Region joined the Naga national service in 1996. “He served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. The void created by his death is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all time to come,” the press release from the MIP of NSCN (IM) stated. It also conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members of Athisü Dehe.
New exec members elected for NSSU
Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The Northern Sumi Students’ Union elected a new team of executive members during its 32nd general conference held on January 4 and 5.
According to a press release, the new team for the 2022-2024 tenure will be led by Oyika S Sumi as President and Inakato Sumi as General Secretary. Other members include Khekiye Aye (Vice President), Niloto yepthomi (Asst Gen Secy), Alokali Tuccu (Finance Secy), Kuholu Kiba (Games & Sports Secy), Loino Z Achumi (Woman Coordinator), Kikato I Awomi (Assembly Speaker), and H Apuloto Chophi (Deputy Speaker).
