FGN mourns demise of Col Puchong
Dimapur, June 5 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has mourned the untimely demise of Col Puchong, of Sanglao village, Khiamniungan Region who passed away on June 3. “We have lost one of the energetic and dedicated officers. His death has brought us and created a huge vacuum which is now hard to fill up,” MIP FGN said in a press release. Col Puchong joined the National service on April 5, 1999. “He served the nation with full commitment, sincerity and loyalty till his last breath. Though he untimely left us, his commendable contribution towards the Naga nation during his 22 years service shall not go in vain but it will be recorded in the pages of Naga history,” it stated.
GPRN/NSCN condoles demise of Khawoto P Chishi
Dimapur, June 5 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has conveyed condolences for the demise of Khawoto P Chishi, Kilonser Sumi Region who passed away on June 5. A press note issued by MIP, GPRN/NSCN said that Late Khawoto P Chishi enrolled and joined the national service in 1990 and served the nation for the 31 years with full commitment and compassion in various capacities till his last breath. “GPRN/NSCN will remember him for his admirable and staunch character as a true national worker. In his demise the Naga nation have loss one of the most dedicated and promising patriot. His impressive records of service and dedication for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished and treasured in the pages of Naga history,” the condolence message stated.
