NPP Nagaland greets 
on Good Friday

Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): The NPP Nagaland State party led by their MLA and President A Nyamyei Konyak has greeted on the occasion of Good Friday commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary. It is a solemn day for the Christians to reflect and mourn the death of Jesus Christ.  Christians across the world believe Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross represents the ultimate act of Love and redemption for humanity’s sins, NPP Nagaland stated in its message. “Good Friday serves as a powerful reminder of the hope that lies even in the face of immense suffering. It is a day of introspection and a time to contemplate the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice for Humanity,” it added.

Evangelical Camp at 
Modern College underway

Kohima, March 28 (MExN): A four-day Evangelical Camp is underway at Modern College, Piphema. Organised by the College Evangelical Union, its first Evangelistic Camp is held under the theme “Where are you?” (Genesis 3:9) from March 28 to 31 at its Indoor Stadium. Altogether, 62 campers along with teachers are taking part in the programmewhich is in sync with the Holy Week. The camp aimed to bring the young students closer to God and become better Christian. Moatoshi Imsong is the Camp speaker and resource persons are Wochamo Odyou, LE Mathew, Dr Martemjen and James Swu.

Medical Board constituted at Phek

Phek, March 28 (MExN): The office of the DC & DEO Phek has constituted Medical Board in respect of Phek District with the under mentioned officers to examine the applications seeking for exception from election duty on medical ground: Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, NCS, ADC & ARO, Chairman; members include- Dr Avile Zao, CMO, District Hospital Phek; Nengpichong Singsit, EAC Hq; Anyone Specialist Doctor from DH, Phek. It further informed all the government officials/staffs of Phek District seeking exception from election duty on health ground that District Level Medical Board, Phek will conduct checkup/examine the cases on April 3 from 10:00 am onwards at the Office complex of the DC & DEO, Phek. Therefore, all such genuine applicants are informed to appear in person before the Board on the said time, date and venue. This is in view of the conduct of upcoming general election to LS 2024, stated a DIPR report.

Mokokchung Medical Board for exemption on April 1

Mokokchung, March 28 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed to all polling personnel and grade IV staff/MTS requisitioned for election duty that, a Medical Board for exemption would be held on April 1, 10:00 am onwards at Planning Hall, Office of the District Planning Officer, Mokokchung. In this regard, all those who have already applied leave on medical ground (listed in Annexure-A) and others wishing to avail exemptions on the same ground have been directed to appear in person along with all relevant documents/certificates before the medical board on the mentioned date. DC and DEO Mokokchung stated that there will be only 1 sitting of the Medical Board. Thereafter, no exemption on medical board would be entertained. Pregnant women and lactating mothers who have already submitted application for leave, with supporting documents need not appear for the Medical Board.
