ADC Chozuba notifies

Phek, March 30 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) cum Administrator of Chozuba Town Council, Imokokla has notified the citizens of Chozuba Town to remove/relocate all animal and fowl pens/enclosures from the vicinity of all public roads, highways, and vehicular thoroughfare within ten days from the issue of the order. The ADC also directed all colony GBs and the ward level sanitation committee to take necessary action and the Town Sanitation Committee would undertake the inspection. Defaulters would be penalized under the relevant section of law.

Kohima to be declared as ODF+ 

Kohima, March 30 (MExN): Kohima Municipal Council informed all the ward panchayats and its citizens residing within Kohima municipal jurisdiction, that Kohima was declared Open Defecation Free (ODF) in the year 2017. In continuation of this, soon Kohima will be declared as ODF+, according to KMC Administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer. If there is any objection/clarification to be made by any person/group, they have been informed to approach KMC office during office hour within 15 (fifteen) days i.e March 29 to April 13, 2022. No complaints will be entertained after the due date, Longkumer added.

MYO announces new team

Kohima, March 30 (MExN): The Mengujuma Youth Organization (MSU) has announced its new team of office bearers for the tenure 2022-2024.President-Viralhou Sechü, vice president-Ruopfüsilie Seyie and Seyielhoutuo Rhatsu, general secretary- Sedevituo Sano, joint secretary-Medelhoukho Seyie, treasurer-Kethosilie Rürhie, wrestling secretary-Peteneizo Sechü, women co-ordinators-Vizosieno Mor, Kedokhono Sechü, Kevizeno Sano, Keneisano Chalieu & Kikrukhrieü Kuotsu and Meguo Seyie as advisor.
