Hardware shops in Dimapur to open 3 days a week 

Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): All hardware shops in Dimapur are allowed to remain open on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 6:00 am till 12:00 Noon. In an order, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS Deputy Commissioner Dimapur said that proprietor of the hardware shops will be responsible for ensuring compliance to COVID-19 SOPs. The order has been issued in pursuance to the application received from the Hardware Merchant's Association on June 5 and in exercise of the powers conferred under section 30 (1) & (2) of the Disaster Management Act 2005, the DC Dimapur stated. “This order will come into force with effect from June 8 till further directives,” he added. 

Health units under Kiphire dist notified  

Kiphire, June 7 (MExN): All the health units under Kiphire district have been directed to prepare the due list of 45 years and above age group for COVID-19 vaccination. Village wise lists have to be submitted to the Chief Medical Officer’s office on or before June 11. To enable smooth conduct of vaccination, respective Health Units have been directed to take the assistance of Asha, AWW, SHG, NGOs, NRLM etc. and carry out the activity. Block Programme Manager and Block Asha Coordination have been requested to monitor the progress of activity.

Home Department informs HoDs

Kohima, June 7 (MExN): Home Department in a circular has informed all Heads of Departments including the offices of NIC, CSO, NCCD, SBI, BSNL and Post Office in the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Complex, Kohima to submit list of officers and staff who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19 till date. The list may be submitted to the Home Department either in hard copy or email it to homedepartmentgab1@.gmail.com latest by June 8.
