GPRN/NSCN mourns
Dimapur, March 9 (MExN): The GPRN/NSCN has expressed shock over the untimely demise of Sgt Maj Anito Sumi who passed away in a tragic accident on March 8. Late Anito enrolled in the Naga Army on April 4, 2011 and served for 10 years till his demise, a press release from MIP, GPRN/NSCN stated. The GPRN/NSCN stated that late Anito was a true asset known not only for his dedication to his services but was also a compassionate and noble young man who believes in the cause and aspiration of a Naga nation. The GPRN/NSCN has conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family members and prays the Almighty to grant peace and solace during this time of great loss.
DC mon notifies land permit holders
Mon, March 9 (MExN): DC Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS has issued an order notifying all private land permit holders of Government lands with standing quarters in Mon Town jurisdiction to submit their permits for verification and authentication within 7 days from the issue of the order (March 8). Failure to comply with the Order shall result in the cancellation of all such permits summarily without any further notice.
Nagaland DoSE informs on pre-school
Kohima, March 9 (MExN): The department of School Education (DoSE) has notified all the private schools of the State under elementary sector that application forms for recognition, up-gradation, renewal of recognition and opening of pre-school will be issued by the Directorate of School Education till March 31, time 1100 am to 1:00 pm from the date of issue of this order. The last date of submission will be on April 15. No application shall be entertained after the stipulated period.
