DC Dimapur notifies
Dimapur, May 1 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Chairman DDMA Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan has ordered the sealing of “Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation Limited (NIDCL), behind Hotel Saramati Supermarket Complex Dimapur, House No-EWS-02/House No. EWS-03 Dimapur” till further order during which time necessary sanitization of the premises shall be done by the management.
Any person violating these containment measures will be penalized as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act 2005, besides legal action under Section 188 of the IPC, the order cautioned.
Aboi CHC clarifies
Mon, May 1 (MExN): The Medical staff of the Aboi Community Health Centre (CHC) on Saturday dismissed rumours about the demise of a person at Aboi town after receiving COVID-19 vaccination.
According to a press statement issued by the CHC staff, the audio with an image attached being circulated in social media groups in connection to the person’s demise “is totally baseless and wrong.”
“The deceased has been treated with painkillers and antibiotics at a private pharmacy for non COVID-19 related ailments after which he died. This is a humble request to all to refrain from spreading such rumours and also not to believe any unverified, baseless viral audio/videos,” it appealed.
