Kohima, May 2 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education has informed all the Sub- Divisional Education Officers to submit the detail status report on receipt of free text books for the year 2020-21 on or before May 15. The report may be submitted at Room No. 419, Directorate of School Education or through whatsapp at 7005199298 or 9774176984.

KMC revises poultry rates in Kohima

Kohima, May 2 (MExN):  The Kohima Municipal Council has revised the rates for poultry within its jurisdiction. 
This was done after a meeting with the Fowls Traders Union and wholesalers of chickens and ducks within the jurisdiction of Kohima Municipality.
The rates have been informed as: Broiler- Rs. 180/kg, Layer- Rs. 260/kg, Kroiler- Rs. 260/kg, Fillister- Rs. 230/kg, Local Chicken- Rs. 480/kg Pani haas- Rs, 480 /piece, China haas (Male)- Rs. 950/piece, China Haas (Female)- Rs. 550/Piece, Raja Haas- Rs 2600 /pair and Pigeon- Rs. 350/pair.
All shopkeepers have been asked to display the approved rate chart near each weighing balance. Use of digital weighing machine and wearing of Apron is mandatory and hygienic condition is to be maintained, the KMC directed. 
The shopkeepers have also been directed to maintain social distancing and entertain only one customer at a time. Customers have been advised to wear masks and wash their hands before and after buying goods. No items shall be sold beyond the fixed rate, the KMC cautioned. Meanwhile, the KMC stated that all fowl and poultry shops located at main town are to be shifted to colonies. It cautioned that not following any of the above rules shall be dealt with sternly.

Longleng DTF to meet today

LONGLENG, MAY 2 (MExN): The Longleng district administration has convened an emergency meeting of the Longleng District Task Force on COVID-19 on May 3 at the DC's conference lobby room at 12:30 pm. A notice issued through the DIPR informed all members to attend the meeting positively.
