Yongnyah Union, Longleng celebrated its first edition of Phom Monyiü at Public Ground, Longleng on April 1. Monyiü is the main festival of Phom Naga celebrated throughout the 1st week of April every year. The Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) Women Ministry (WM) conducted the second batch of Duranno Mother School from March 28 to 30. The second mothers’ school was conducted under the theme ‘a loving mother, a loving family’ and ‘You make people around you happy.’ A total of 27 mothers attended the mothers’ school. A press release from Amongla Jamir, Associate Pastor, DABA, WM stated that, in the year 2018, a team of four women leaders attended the 5th Duranno English Mothers’ School in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and thereby, efforts have been put in preparation to conduct mothers’ school here in local language.
