NCC Cadets of Don Bosco College, Kohima observed World Blood Donors Day on June 15. NCC Cadet Tsurila of 2nd Semester for the first time donated blood voluntarily at Blood Bank, NHAK, Kohima. She was accompanied by NCC officer Rokovinuo and the college Principal. Cadet Tsurila received the ‘thank you’ card from Voluntary Blood Donors Association India which reads, “Thank you for coming here, and wanting to share. Thanks for stopping by and showing you care. Thanks for the concern you have shown to someone quite ill who is to you unknown. Thanks for offering a part of you. Someone, somewhere will begin life anew.”

 
Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan launched the distribution of relief package of essential commodities to daily wage earners and labourers affected by lockdown at Dimapur District on June 15. According to officials, a total of 7,000 households have been listed as beneficiaries from all over the district. Volunteers from Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA), Muslim Council and Red Cross assisted in the packaging and distribution of the relief items at Holy Cross School Auditorium, Dimapur. (DIPR Photo)

Naga Christian Fellowship, Chennai led by Pastor Wapang Toshi distributed ration kits comprising of rice, dal, cooking oil and spices to 22 households of North East in Chennai. These have been given to around 65 needy people from NE, who currently lives in Choolaimedu, Adambakkam and Teynampeth in Chennai.
