In a prelude to the Platinum Jubilee celebration on January 24, the village gate of Lilen Village under Ahthibung sub-division, Peren district was inaugurated on January 21 by Alet Hangsing, Retired Joint Director, Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland. It was dedicated by L Hangsing.
Advisor, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Education & Economics & Statistics Nagaland, L Khumo inaugurated the Thangoun Village Council Hall, Noklak on January 20. He said the council hall is constructed for the welfare of the village people which was a ‘long felt’ need of the village.
