Assam Rifles organised a security meeting in Chenmoho COB, Nagaland. Angh, GBs and Village Guards from the local village came to attend the meeting. “The main agenda of the meeting was to analyse the security situation in the village and across the border,” PRO, HQ IGAR (North) stated in a press release. It added that the Angh and GBs mentioned “they are peacemakers of village and they always stand with Assam Rifles to counter any illegal activities, unethical practices, and extortion.” (Photo Courtesy: PRO, HQ IGAR (North))
Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N) organised an awareness lecture for the students and teachers of Delhi Public School, Darogapathar on October 21 at Dimapur. PRO, HQ IGAR (North) in a press release stated that in continuation with series of events as part of Swachhata Abhiyan Campaign, the awareness lecture was conducted which was participated by over 55 students and five teachers. Care-Centre for Environment and Rural Poor (C-CERP) joined the celebration of National Wildlife Week, 2023, under the theme “Partnership for Wildlife Conservation” with school students of Jalukie Valley. Altogether, 30 students from 7 schools from Jalukie town under Peren district participated in the event. 

 

Model Christian College (MCC) hosted its 1st Autumn Fest 2023 under the theme ‘upholding ethnicity and culture’ at the college campus on October 21. Ajunlo Kent, President, MCCSC and Convenor of the event delivered welcome address followed by an illuminating array of performances by the students of MCC and MHSS. The fest was declared open by Albert Arucho, Administrator MCC. The informal session witnessed performances by Kekhrie Ringa and Azi Rudy. The Autumn Fest was sponsored by Magdeline Coaching Centre, M/S T Albert Angami and Co, Imperial IAS Academy, All Nagaland Taxi Association and Crescent International. The event is also co-sponsored by A-Ki Cafe, Food Smith Restaurant, Uki Cafe, The Flat Bread, Auto Dynamic, Yaotsu's Restaurant, TaFMA, Alumni Association MCC & Sosinle Ras.
