A malaria awareness programme was organised for the over 350 cadets of Sainik School Punglwa, Nagaland on July 23. A medical team from District Hospital Jalukie led by Dr Hedungkiebe, District Programme Officer, delivered a lecture that highlighted the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of malaria. Emphasising the importance of awareness, he provided practical tips on how to avoid mosquito bites and reduce the risk of malaria transmission. Blood samples of 45 random cadets were also collected for malaria test to identify any potential cases of malaria for early intervention.
