The Shiv Mandir Mothers’ organization hold a get to together programme on June 24 in its mandir premises with PB Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and his wife as the special guest. The event was attended by members from surrounding villages.

The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) in collaboration with Social Empowerment Organization carried out a training of trainers (ToT) on Mithunuo Caravan activity to spread the message across 11 districts of Nagaland on disaster preparedness, evacuation, mock drills and awareness on safety precaution.

Christian Mission Higher Secondary School, Diphupar organized Fresher’s Meet on June 23 to welcome new students. Anung I Jamir and A Alovi Sumi were crowned as Mr and Miss Freshers respectively.

Sub-Divisional Agricultural Office Pughoboto conducted Farmer’s Field School under Integrated Pest Management (IPM) 2017-2018 at Pughoboto on June 26. In the keynote address, SDAO Myanthung Patton emphasized on Roden Management and distributed IPM kits to all the 31 farmers present in the programme. In the technical session Agriculture Inspector Viketuno Chusi spoke on the management of rice leaf folder insect and also on use of locally available techniques.
