Several bottles of illicit liquor and assorted drugs were destroyed at public dumping site Zunheboto on September 23 in compliance with an order and direction issued by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Zunheboto on September 21. The items were destroyed by a destruction committee set up by the court. The Assistant Public Prosecutor, Zunheboto Kivinto Swu informed that the destroyed items were seized in connection with 21 different criminal registered cases. The committee further informed that the detailed copy of destruction report has been submitted to Court for necessary record.
